I was sitting there, inhaling a $1 hamburger and thought...omg what the hell am I doing?!?!! If they can make it only $1 and still make profit off it, theres something seriously wrong here. It made me realize what I am really putting in my body. All the saturated fat, trans fat, fructose, and all the little extras they put in there to make your brain think....mmmmmmmmmm fast food. It was a duh moment. I decided then and there, I am going to do a fat flush. 100 days of pure, unadulterated, no additives, no special colors no extra anythings; Raw vegatables, fuits, and nuts. I am hoping that within this journey I become more aware of what I am really putting in my body. After all our bodies are our temples and whos going to clean it if we dont?! This is going to be a long, difficult process for me. I love meat and starch. I think that this is something I need to do not only for myself but for my family. I am willing to do this becuase I know I need to be more active and I know I need more energy. Food minus the extra fats and fructose is pure energy food. I am hoping to drop a few pounds as when I am done with this, I will be doing weight watchers to continue the weight loss and hopefully keep it off.
So I went out tonight bought me a ton of fruits and vegetables (have to go the whole foods or somewhere of the sorts to get fresh nuts) and I am diving into this thing head first.
Wish me luck, give me encouragement and if you see me slip catch me. All the help I can get is greatly appreciated!!!
